Avoid Watersmeet

So I can say, Watersmeet is one of the spots we like going to. However, the grade in and out of Watersmeet when defined as good by their club, I’m my experience, is really “fair” at best. Last year, they were rated as good while we were there. Worst I had ever seen it. Rocks were coming through bad. They could not be avoided. Enough to cause a chip in my hood from the rider in front, and dings in my heat exchanger. Rocks coming through in the trail is not “good”.

On the other hand, in their defense, you can’t possibly blame them for the lack of grooming when it’s as warm as it is out. Any club up there for that matter. It’s a waste of time and resources to groom when it’s stupid warm like this. They didn’t have much for snow pack as it was. Anyone that rides the trails when it’s nearing 40, unless it’s mid March, is looking to ride crap.

That whole area sucks used to be a good place. When your on that grade it sounds like one of those rocks is going to put a hole in your tunnel there are so many. We quit going there just stay in the truck another 30-45 min. Same BS every year “groomer is broke” “ can’t find anyone to run the groomer”.

Didn't know the groomers hadn't been out since the Jan 1, they were supposed to run Thursday night but didn't. They went out first thing this morning and will be running daily. Hopefully in a day or two they'll be in good shape
