B & W stow and tow hitches

has anyone used or use a B & W stow and tow hitch? saw this on an outdoor channel this morning, I have trailers with varying receiver heights and multiple receivers, looked up specs on this but was hoping for first hand experience or opinions. I have my shop trailer which most of the time is hauling lawn and garden equipment, a 28' fiberglass boat and a 27' enclosed cargo express trailer that is steel framed that I haul 3 to 4 sleds in at a time. My question is do you feel having the lack of solid connection on the drop part of receiver ( meaning by moving pins you can change height of receiver ) is strong enough to haul these trailers without worry? instead of a welded connection with one pin you essentially between the ball, adjustable height and the receiver itself there are 4 pins which seems like a lot of non solid links pulling on a lot of weight, opinions?

I use a similar design hitch made by Anderson which has worked out well for my needs. I haul a 25 foot tri-toon and a 3-4 placed aluminum enclosed with no issues. I wouldn't think you'll have an issue with the B&W it's just a different design with two bolts instead of the one as Anderson uses. The simplicity to adjust height is nice. Good luck!

Thanks harski, you can read reports and specs but I go more by honest opinions based on experiences, Thanks!

Mine is from Bulletproof. It was not cheap but has a higher capacity than most of the brands. Also has a nice Pintle design.

I've used the b&w for years,I like it and it works great. I do a lot of towing as I own my own marine repair shop. The largest load I've towed is prob my skidloader and trailer. I used to work for a marina and that's all we used on 6 trucks with no issues

Have ran the B & W stow hitch for a couple of years now, pull several different trailers with no issues. Would definitely recommend.

I have the B&W hitch as well. Nothing but good things to say. I tow a 23’ boat (6,000#), sled trailers and utility trailers. Highly recommend.

How have they held up to the salt and rust? I have bought chrome plated hitches in the past, hoping they would do better, and same thing, after 1 winter of pulling, look like crap.

I bought the "Weigh Safe" a couple of years back and love it. Just make sure to use White Lithium grease on all mechanisms as I had the lock for up/down adjust seize on me in the first winter. I had to drill it out and buy the new lock. WD-40 didn't do the trick as a preventative.

Thank you everyone!! definitely got my answer, currently I use this gigantic hitch that sticks way out and it weighs a ton, and the only way to move it is moving bolts. All of my trailers take a 2 5/16" ball but they are all at different heights, was just concerned about there just being pins and slots but like I said..got my answer! Thank you all again! much appreciated! looking on-line they are all over the place as far as pricing depending on where you buy it

I have a weigh safe also and it works great. The adjustable pins for height have no pressure for towing like the bolt steel adjustable ones I've seen.
