A reminder for those of you who back country sled in the Huron Bay-Peshekee Grade area. For your safety, please stay off of plowed roads. Logging and snowplowing equipment will be active there again this winter. Too many close calls last winter. That means access is only from existing trails from L'anse or Big Bay, not the end of Marquette County Rd 607(Huron Bay-Peshekee Grade). Thanks for your cooperation.

That road really needs more turn off areas to park/turn around so don't go up there. Riding sucks. Lol

No, other than the trail from the west or the east the only way is the road.

Rode thru Hurons a few times many yrs ago and came out of the "backcountry" onto plowed rd . Snow got kind of thin too.

Yeah, don't go up there, that road gets plowed down to the pavement... "riding sucks".
