Bad luck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else have as bad of luck as me this year? 1st trip was leaving town and decided to go back and see my Dad because his health had been diminishing and wanted to see him just in case something happened while I was gone. Went by him and he died 20 minutes into my visit, wow so glad I went back obviously.Snow melted that weekend . Planned on going next 2 weekends and no snow . So 0 for 3 right? New Years weekend left Friday with son and 55 miles into our trip his 2010 Switchback motor blew up .Went to Headwaters purchased a new Rush. Rode Sat. Sun. no problems, woke up Monday AM was gonna ride but son was sick , no biggie. Went up Friday had nice trails til about noon then sun was killing trails at about 45 degrees but still had a good 260 mile ride. Woke up Sat. morning with about 4 inches fresh powder and found an area with very little travel and fresh groomed when we hit trails and having a blast and guess what?......... 2011 LX 4 Stroke motor went tight. Unfricken believable. So I ruined 3 other guys weekend along with mine and had to wait 4 hours for them to go get truck. I just dont know what to say other than I cant believe my luck.

Sorry to hear about your dad. The sleds can be fixed, and we will get more snow, but it's really too bad about your father.

Sorry about your dad, but you will always be glad you got that last visit. I sure hope your luck turns around soon, no one deserves all of that at once.

You were fortunate to get a last visit with your father and we are all lucky to even be able to afford this hobby. Your son blew up a sled and immediately bought a new one. You are lucky to have a son who can do things like that. My sleds haven't even left the driveway yet. No close snow and no time to head up north. See? It's all in the way you look at things.

Thanks all , and yes blkwkbob we are very fortunate , and so happy I went back by Dad , and Im not even terribly upset just very frustrated , lol.

Sorry about your Father,
We all have problems that come our way in life and we keep going, because thats life. We take the good with the bad and hope for the best. Sounds like you and your son made the best out of a sad time in your lifes.
Keep the faith .
