Is this the trail North out of Baraga to Chassell open? Can you run the channel from Chassell to Houghton?

I was going to ask the same question as trail 15 from Baraga to Chassell is not on the new 2019-20 Superior trails map
I had heard earlier there was a section of that trail was to be closed this year. Call the Green Light bar in Chassell.
The trail from Baraga to Chassell is closed this year.
That means Chassell is completely shut out with out riding road ditches and whatever. Snomo groups/clubs need to do as John has said, and work with the MI DNR, MSA, to try and get the Painesdale/Chassell trail re established somehow? Such as perhaps, Donken/Tapiola/Chassell? The first part should be easy?
