My grandfather, God rest his soul, was a die hard Cub fan from 1915 until he died in 1981. He used to tell me that I had an obligation to root for the team that was in my state (IL) not the team that was close by (the STL Cardinals) This was the man who taught me how to keep score as a kid in Busch stadium while rooting for his beloved Cubs. Taught me that being a Cub fan was WAY harder than being a Cardinal fan!

Sadly, CB, the Cubs winning may only happen on PS3! :(

Was born and raised a cub fan. Till 1979, then I saw the light. I became a Brewer fan and never looked back.Sure I take some crap from my brothers and friends, but well worth it. I will say one thing good about those cubbies though. In 1970 I got to caddy for Ron Santo, What a great guy.I got to be a guest with my brother and 4 friends, at wrigley,I'll never forget that day. Meet all the great players from that era.Santo was my idol. He was not only a great ball player, but also a great human being. All the things he did for people with diabetes. Anyway in 79 one of my buds got to be friends with Gorman Thomas of the Bru Cru and like they say the rest is history. If you have never been to Miller park you're missing out on a pretty good time .Hope both teams do well, but the Bru cru going to the series.Spring training game on the tube today, we'll see how both teams look.Cubs vs. Brewers@2pm.

VERY cool! I'd venture to guess you aren't the first or last 'recovering' Cub fan who now has a team that isn't as crushing to root for! Push comes to shove, last game of NLCS, Cubs vs Brewers, tied in the bottom of the 9th...you can't tell me it wouldn't do your heart proud to have a Cub actually knock one out of the park to get them to the World Series???

It's the hardest thing to be a Cubs fan ,they just suck .I still have all the tv coverage of Ron santo's funeral on my DVR
As far as (Wrigley Field North ) is great and it's nice 2 see some Brewer fan going to the games now it's a great time
The first few years we went to Miller park just cause we couldn't get seats a Wrigley .Ican't wait to see what we can do
This year but to tell the truth I think is going to be a few years before my Cubs break your hart in the playoffs :)
