so I used to get about 3500 miles a year on a sled for about 20 years....50,000+...and people ask me if I break in a belt and if they should....will it last longer and all that...and for years I would say yes, its like case hardening or tempering the plastic...and there were a lot of nay sayers that said....no, it doesn't work...snake oil...and all that....now fast forward to today....we all know that IT DOES WORK and all manu's actually RECOMMEND in now....and I still get nay sayers....so if you want to check youself have a lookski....heres cats....go look in your book for your machine....I think they all say it now...plus...the wear strips....they can be tempered as well...just an FYI to keep in mind for start of new season coming up
