Has anyone tried their triple point carbides with the ski savers. I have a 2002 Acrtic cat zr 600EFI with factory 121" track around .85" or .91" lugs no studs. I weigh 250 lbs also. What carbide would you recommend 4" or 6" length. thanks in advance

I would do the 6 inch. They are great if you can get them. I would order now so maybe you will have them by the time it snow. I had them on everything I have owned but could not get them last year.

Just courious 8" would be overkill the owner tried to sell me those. I needed another opinion first.

With no studs that seems like a lot. When I talked to Scott Bergstrom a couple years ago, he told me to go with 4" or 6" for my 121" Fusion 600. So that's what I did and I love them.

Now is definitely the time to talk to Bergstrom if you even think you're interested in getting his carbides. If you wait until winter you'll play he** trying to get ahold of him. Just read on DooTalk where somebody ordered some carbides and got them right away.

I use the ski savers and shims also. I put them all on at once so I don't know how much each contributes...

I talked to Scott on Monday evening, first try at calling him. Recommended 6" for me with 1.25 track, no studs, Pol XC600 and he had them in stock, expecting them today.
