got my grandkids out for some bluberry pie,and pancakes fixings!! good crop this year ! Grandaughter on second year and loves eating them! first pic from last year! second from today1

Cute pictures. Our blueberry crop this year has been excellent, many muffins have been eaten.

wow thats thick.....

we've found some great BIG patches pretty cool looking aren't they. I am so hooked on berry picking, Bear has to pull me out sometimes :p ....Lenny told us about a Thimbleberry Margarita his wife had in Calumet, so I'm making a batch of Thimbleberry mix to put in the freezer for an August cookout ....Mmmmm!!!

Wow those are some big patches! you wouldn't know if its your partner or a big bruin shaking them elephant ear leaves!! brings back old memories !too much sandy soil in BJ for thimbleberries. have to go a little north for some clay soil!a great tart jam ! a few in a kettle one bottle in the freezer makes a nice bounce also!

Holy Scat....glad I haven't found any of that. We always pull up blowing a horn and carry on with some loud chatter (which isn't hard for me) lol

bet your pancakes are great!! Mmmmm!!!

and ubee I have a jar of Thimbleberry Jam with your name on it and a stocked fridge for your next stop by :)

Great people,nice cabins,beautifull area. good hospitality,Mike and Linda are cut out to be yoopers!Lots of berries,high water and great atv trails ! Thanks Linda for the thimble berry jam! best jam ever !!
