Going to be in ST Germain snowmobiling this Friday. Its been awhile since being there on a Friday and I am looking for a authentic Friday night Wisconsin Fish fry. Lets hear your favorite place and why.

I've had almost all of em around St G............my favorites are the pan fried at Sisters Saloon, or Four Seasons on Big Arb.......

We love Stillwaters in Star Lake. It's served with mac and cheese, marble rye bread, coleslaw, choice of potato and they use Hadock. If you want a really good treat try the scillian walleye. It's to die for. Ride to sayner scoot across plum lake, take the portage trail to star lake scoot across it and your there.

Surprised you don't have more replies by now so I'll chime in, it's not St G, but Bonnies down in Three Lakes. Can get there by sled or truck, AYCE fish and broasted chicken, have always enjoyed ourselves when we're there.

Lots of great FF's in the area. I would say it is pretty hard to find a bad one (some are just better).

A great fish fry in the area should include:
a price under $10 unless it comes with a salad bar or auce. (Some places are way overpriced for the area)
Once frozen Cod or Haddock. Pollock sucks!!!
Fresh home made tartar, slaw, etc...
If you choose to pay for "poormans lobster" you should get real butter. (many places are warming margarine)
