Best Jetting Fusion 600HO??

Maybe this is a stupid thread because of all the debate, but I want to know and want someone to help me out. I'm only getting 10MPG on my 06 Fusion 600HO. I want to get over 100 miles per tank and increase my MPG but not loose any performance.

Is this possible??

The sled is completley stock. I want to go to the dealer and tell him what I want done to the carbs. I want something that will be as reliable as stock and something I don't have to monkey with once it's changed.

Any ideas on sure fix guys?? Thanks!!!!

Is this carb clean? Exhaust valves? Track tension? I have this sled and it is stock and get around 12 riding hard. I toyed with dropping but left it alone. The air box is a pain to take off and on anyway. You could drop them them to 410 or 400. Since it is getting warmer you could drop to 400 and be safe. But remember to change them back when riding below zero.

Yea I'd rather just leave it stock but not sure if that's possible. Bought it as a left over this year. It now has 1200 miles, exhaust valves were cleaned at 600miles, just adjusted my track.......maybe its a bit too tight but seems ok.....and I'm assuming the carbs are fine. I wish I got 12!!!
Can I ask you when does your low fuel thing come on or blink you?? Mine comes on around 75miles into a full tank! Seems low to me. Anyway, thanks for any advice!

PS The most I've pushed a tank is 85 miles!! after it blinking LOW FUEL for 15 miles. I don't think I'd even get 100!!! Pisses me off too!!

Go with 55 pilot jets, .9 Pilot air jets, 1.25-1.50 turns out on the air screws and 410 mains, with the E-clips in #2 slot. Mine consistently gets 12-14 mpg trail riding. I've been told I can drop to 400 mains but I'm happy with the way the plugs look and don't want to have to worry about being lean when the tempature drops. I have probably 3/4 inch of sag in my track when the backend is off of the ground, this is also after setting overnight in a 50 degree garage. I've run this jetting in temps as low as -20 to +35 degrees F with no problems. Other than the jetting the sled is all stock. My low fuel light will come on at around 90 miles but it probably still has around 2-2.5 gallons in the tank, it does make you nervous when that damn thing starts blinking and tells you that you can go 0.1 miles until empty.

I rejetted my with 55 pilots .9 air jet and 400 mains with the clip in the top position. It greatly improved my performance and mileage. The plugs are cardboard brown but if you are going to run it hard make sure you run 93 octane otherwise the DET light will blink when you open it up. This last weekend I calculated I got 15 mpg, but it was more of a cruiser type of ride with a group of 15 riders so not very fast. I am temped to go up to 410 mains to give me alittle margin from poor fuel. HOwever it is a gerat improvement over the 420's. My light starts blinking at when I have about 2-3 gallons left.

Fast mod and Jim thanks for the info,........In looking back at a lot of past posts I think I'll go with the 410 mains and figure it out from there. Hopefully that helps get a few extra miles!! Again, Thanks for helping me out!!

Put a little grease around the boots. It will help get the air box back on. It's still a pain in the *** but will help.

Are you going to run 410 and leave everything else? Let me know how it goes.

Good luck!

I have an 07 RMK 600, SLP air horn kit, I run 400 mains, 40 pilots, needle in number 2, and 1.25 out on the fuel screws. I know I am pushing a lot of track with mine, but, IF I get 10, I consider it a good day. LOL.
