1st-Complimentary pastries at Sunrise Lodge- Land O Lakes.
2nd- West bay diner in Grand Marais. Some of the best bacon I've had and the giant omletes keep you fueled.

Lunch-
1st- Soup and bloody mary Bauers Damn in Conover.
2nd- Salad Bar Root Cellar in Marenisco

Supper-
1st- Walleye at Bear Trap in Land O'
2nd- Steaks at Blink Bonnies in Saint Germain

Shut Down-
Tijuana's- Fall off bone ribs. I think it's now called loose moose.
Fishermanns- All you can eat shrimp. I forget exactly where this was located.
Emilio's Gateway- Handamde cream cheese poppers.

On Trail-
Hot dog made over fire

I don't know about "best", but in the category of "damn fine"...........Up North......just outside Gwinn MI

I think you may be able to get Big Rob's ribs at The Hillside in Phelps....But they close for the winter.

I did enjoy the ribs at Loose Moose.

Breakfast
Pancakes and eggs at the wolf pack in St Germain

Pizza or the Italian beef at the log cabin Conover

Too many places to choose from. It's usually all good when I'm hungry.

Easter buffet at Lava Mountain lodge. 1 pound Prime Rib dinner with all the fixens at Togwotee Mountain Lodge (5 nights in a row). Any of the many bed and breakfasts in Algoma country Ontario. For lunch, Brooks Lake lodge anything on the menu. Pizza at Lake Superior Brewing in Grand Marais Mi. Oh and dinner buffet at Bay Mills casino (crab legs) in Brimley Mi.

It all depends upon whether you like their sauce or not........I would put them on a par with a small chain called "Michaelbob's" who have won numerous awards..........but they're a bit of a road trip.......Naples & Marco Island FL.

There used to be a Sunday Champagne brunch at the Eagle Waters resort in Eagle River that was outstanding. Not sure if they still do it.

Worst place? Burnt Bridge in Conover. The old lady is so rude to snowmobilers that she doesn't deserve our business.

Build your own pizza night at Henrys inn. Do they still do that?? It was amazing to see the creations people could come up with!!!
