Big Bay is really down on snow. Wednesday it was very "snirty" quite a few bare spots on trail 14N from Marquette to Big Bay. It was the same way from Big bay to lanse on 14S the last 10 miles was mostly snirt and bare (logging) the logging road was down to dirt.

We called this part of the trip going through "ROCK"quette, "BROWN"Bay and "BARE"aga cancelled room in Baraga (no snow) and shot over to the Kewaneenaw. There was too little snow and too much traffic on the overtaxed trail 14.
