Big bay trail conditions

Can anyone confirm this report from the 550 snowmobile club from Big Bay? I would have thought the trails would be in better shape than what they are reporting. I have noticed in the past they have tended to lower the rating as apposed to rating the trails better than they really are, which isn't a bad thing. I have always been able to rely on this trail system to be maintained and love trail 14. The report below is from Jan 07, 2017


Trail 14, Big Bay to Anderson : Groomed 01/06 Fair to Good
Trail 14, South From 310 to Marquette: Groomed 01/06 Poor to Fair
Trail 14, Big Bay to Halfway Groomed 01/06 Poor to Fair

I was hoping to head up there next weekend and was disappointed to see this report.

Give Tom at Big Bay Motel a call. He should be able to tell you. I don't think Pete does a real good job of updating conditions on the club site. 906-345-9444.

Was there any further information received on the Big Bay conditions? We too are planning to head up there this coming weekend.

I haven't heard any further reports but the snow they are getting today should help
