I'm just sitting here reminiscing of my last trip to Munising (eagerly waiting for the next one) and thinking of all of the trails where I was the first to ride on. We passed the groomers at least 5 times.

I'm not sure if guys are getting paid to drive those things or if they're just volunteers, but in any case; THANK YOU!!!

You guys make our trips worth while. I can't wait to get up there next week!

Cheers!

WE too like the grooming job done by our cabin, mostly by club members. AS well as a groomer jug we started a groomer driver jug, this way they can grab a burger or get a pop without spending their own money. They really like the jug and do not abuse it.

MY hats off to the drivers and club members in the UP. Whenever I meet one on the trail they are usually stopped to let us by and I reach in my pocket and grab a couple bucks or a five spot and hand it to the guy. Not much but I hope they appriecate it.

I'm not sure if those guys enjoy grooming or not. It seems like it takes a while to groom because they're going so slow. Perhaps they have really good stereo systems in those things? It also seems like the volunteers are doing a completely selfless act.

Excellent idea slimcake and thank you to the groomers. I've thought about stopping and doing the same, but it seems kinda tough given the magnitude of those assume machines. I will however find a way and keep a couple bucks in an easily accessible outer pocket.
