HID's

I think the Watersmeet groomer is the only groomer I've seen with HID lighting. You can see that thing coming from a mile away. Even around corners. All groomers should have that lighting system. The price has really come down on HID systems. I Just put them in my sled. Makes a huge difference.

NO :( Dr. says probably never again...this makes me very sad. But we'll see as time goes by

Funny Picture huh!!

That is a bummer. Maybe we could put in a few cams. This rig has 3 cameras just to allow the driver to face forward while driving. The cameras are inside the tank, end of the auger, and underneath the back of the hopper. The driver can watch the combine auger dumping by watching on the screen by the steering wheel. I'm sure the snowdust would not be any worse than the chaff and debris.
And yes, it is a funny picture.:p

Funny you posted that, the club actually talked about it, (I think they miss me ;) ) I always thought about how cool it would be to have cameras in the tractors when I was grain farming, dumping on the go with 3 inches of clearance between the combine auger and grain box, driving in a bumpy field, looking backwards, driving forwards, yes cameras would have been nice!!

The cameras are nice. Placement of the monitors is helpfull too. The unloading camera monitor is placed right off the line of sight for looking at the auger.(While watching the grain coming out the auger through the window, the monitor shows the view inside the truck.)

New combines are offering cameras as a factory option now. Not to mention auto-steer on just about everything too. It's not like the old days. The new RTK guidance stuff is amazing. We actually talked about bringing one of the boxes up for you guys to try in the
"R", but realized the trees and no local antenna would not help.

This is a pic of the steering screen on the combine during soybeans. It also shows running totals and the current yield vs moisture, etc.
