My favorite is the late 70's SRX's! Living a five mintue walk from a Yamaha snowmobile dealer we would vist the showroom floor to look (and try to sit) on the brand new SRX's and Exciter's. I was around 7 or 8 years old.

I can help you with that dream. I have a friend that's liquidating some of his Polaris collection. I know there's a 69 Mustang in his fleet.

No 80 TX's or TXL's. I've got 12 TX's from 71 - 79, with 5 of em being 76 - 79. As Monte Hall would say, Let's Make A Deal!

And of course,...does He want an arm and a leg?
When I took a break at work last night,... On Vintage Sleds,...
I see there is a just completed restore in Iowa.
All it needed was side decals and a windshield. Pretty reasonable
but "far away" also!

I still remember vividly (tho it was so VERY L O N G ago,..)
Me, sitting in front of my Dad,...Hands on my knees,.....
Staring at that Mustang logo on oneside,... and the Polaris Star logo on the other,...
He had that "split foam" ya put around pipes on the handle bars,..(for when I banged my head)
and sometimes fell asleep from the rumble of the old JLO,.....
Pretending that "I" was the driver,.... and "someday THIS is going to be mine"!
.....Kinda brings a tear,.... doesn't it?
O.K.,.... maybe not so much.
BUT Those were the times that made me LOVE this sport the way I do,...
And will CONTINUE to!

I'll do my best on the photos. Times gonna be the problem. I'm leaving for the UP Sunday for a week of riding, but I'll pass along. I did see the one on "Vintage Sleds" too. The one I'm talking about is perfect from head to toe.
