Looking for info. on Bill Nichols, and why was a portion of trail 3
named as the Bill Nichols trail?

Well you can thank Mike99ss for this info he was look for an old issue of Snowgoer and I happen to find a copy I had tonight. In it there happen to be this little fact.

Bill Nicholls was president of the Copper Range Railroad and was instrumental in the acquisition of the railroad grade for use as a trail. The trail crossed the Firesteel River on three steel bridges, which total 1,288 feet in length at clears the river by 85 feet.
