Neillsville, north of BRF received about 4" of heavy wet snow....guessing BRF received less....go little further north - Hwy 29 corridor and they received much more snow. Check out Taylor County...Medford area or Northern Clark County.

Black River area is light on snow. Few trails open in NW Jackson county. With warm temps this week, keep heading north

Go to Chippewa county. Eau claire will not open till Sunday morning at nine. Dunn county is open, but has posted that many of the trails are not being groomed yet. Heavy snow bullseye's were just south of eau claire and northern Chippewa county. Clark is just starting to groom. The warm-up, and traffic will determine how long things will even last around here at all. There is a parking area on the old abe trail on the East side of lake Wisota that would be a good place to ride from. 29 pines and the Back 40 would also work.

Rode Dunn tonight for 60 miles after work and passed the groomer twice. Trails were great except for a few low hanging branches. Eau Claire announced a couple hours ago that they will be open Saturday at 8am. A lot of pressure from people with UCP sno-biz going on Saturday in Cleghorn.

Yes you're right they changed the opening for eau claire. One small section of trail between Fall Creek and Augusta will not be open due to a field of standing corn. You can get to Fall Creek to head north into Chippewa county, and to Augusta to enter Clark county. It's just the connector between the two towns trail 9 that is closed. Come up for Snow Biz and support a good cause!

Clark County trails will open Saturday morning at 8:00...north of Hwy 10 is your best bet as Hatfield area and Jackson County will be thin.

Do you know how warm it got around there today, and if they are still going to open trails tomorrow?
Thanks

45 today in Neillsville, trails still opening Saturday morning in Clark County. The further north you go, the more snow there is. I would not bother with Black River Falls area after today...JMO.

Only Northwest Jackson county is still open. Northeast closed down. They might close the rest in morning with Eau Claire county's refusal to open.

I see Eau Claire County is closed and Clark County is only open in the County Forest and I believe the northern club trails. I was up above Hwy 29 the other day and I would go there, should be good from there north. Plan on doing that on Sunday.
