Has anyone ever stayed here? I spoke with the owner and she states its a 6 mile road ride to the main trail. Just want to hear if you have any experience staying/ride there. We have a group of 5 going. Thanks

If this is the lodge north of Bessemer I have stayed there. It is a ski lodge and they don't really "cater" to sledders. And it is a LONG dry road ride to the trail !!!!

Ski Lodges generally don't like, or cater to snowmobilers. That is unless they rent them also on site.

I agree, the last thing you want when you are downhill skiing and enjoying nature is the buzz of a 2-stroke and the smell of oil.
With that said, it puzzled me why they moved the trail closer to the Ironwood, MI area ski areas in the years past?

People need to stop following each other so closely. How horrible would it be to run over one of your friends and kill them? I see it all the time in the reports.
