Well finally the Hawks are a point in front of the Wild! Been a great season of hockey. Ready for the playoffs.
Its just to bad the Wild and Hawks are in the same division. Both are really good teams. I like the Hawks chances again this year. (playoffs)
The division is still up for grabs.

Sweeper - - -You feeling like making any more bets on the side? ;)

Sure I'll do the same as last year. Gotta stand by my guys, feel good about it so I'm in.

They're playing really well right now! Seems like they're all seeing the puck well, the passing is great, and Crawford has been standing on his head! Sounds like Arnisimov isn't hurt too bad which is good. Hopefullly the momentum can keep going! Go Hawks!

Long ways to go. Doesn't really matter who wins the division. Playoffs will be tough regardless. West coast teams always wake up for playoffs. Nice to see Wild having the year they are having but playoffs is where coach Q shines. Still don't think either will beat Caps. Hope I am wrong.

That Hawks/Wild game Sunday...I'm not sure the Hawks could beat them in a series.

I believe the hawks have won the last three games. How can you say you're not sure the Hawks could beat them in a series?? The hawks have talent, coaching, a stud goaltender, unreal depth on defense and championship level experience. They can definitely beat the Wild in a Series and have done so several times already. ITs the Wild who need to prove to everyone they can beat the Hawks.

Did you watch the game? The Wild outshot the Hawks 44-22 and were all over the Hawks most of the game. They have depth at forward and are hungry. They are a dangerous team.

I did watch the game, along with the previous two that the Hawks won. I'm not arguing that the wild aren't a dangerous team. Just the fact that the wild have to prove to everyone that they can beat the Hawks in a series before anyone doubts that the Hawks can win a series.

I can question whatever I want. The Blues beat the Hawks in the first round last year. It happens.

Correct, you can question whatever you want. I wasn't taking away your right to do so. I was just questioning your reasoning in a respectful manor on a discussion board. Clearly you think the Hawks can't beat the Wild in a series because they got out shot in a game they led the entire way. I disagreed. Good conversation.

Just have to stay healthy.

Conversate? Differing Opinions? Yeah!!!! It is called a forum-discussion board after all.

Out shot by Wild because they were desperate to catch up. Crawford standing on his head and our elite defensemen had it covered.
That was an exciting game. Enjoyed every minute of it. Would have if the Wild won too. It is great hockey!

I said I'm NOT SURE. That means I have a reasonable doubt. The Hawks have probably the best defense in hockey, but Minnesota's is not shabby. Hawks have a great goalie. Dubnyk never impressed me that much. BUT, the Hawks are pretty much a two line team as far as scoring. An injury to Kane or Toews would finish them. They can't win a damn faceoff ever, which is a joke for a puck possession team. Minnesota is deep up the middle--four Centers who can score and some nice wingers. Kero is useless and Krueger poses no offensive threat ever. Boudreau--known for playoff choking. Obvious advantage Q. Wild assistant coaches are John Anderson and Scott Stevens. That's pretty respectable. I think the Wild will give the Hawks a tremendous battle if they meet.

Well not sure if you have watched closely of late but the Hawks are surging while the wild are starting to fold under pressure. Since the Hawks moved Hossa to the third line the offense (all three lines) has really been rolling. Injury could end either teams chances.

Kero and Krueger are role players who play on the 4th line/checking line. They aren't suppose to be offense studs. They also both work on the penalty kill. If you're going to be critical on the line up, I guess I'm fine with you doing so on that line. Huge difference maker....

Note: I love watching Kero play. Will cheer for a guy from JohnDee's neck of the woods. Every time I see him play I think about snowmobiling.
