I got old timer and schrade. coolest is the one i made in shop class back in 1990(senior). that was the last year they allowed students to make weapons. it was a huge rambo style hunting knife. i got an A on the project, then some punk stole it.

I carry a Gerber fast draw, or Kershaw blur daily. Both folding Knives w combination blade and pocket clip. I also carry the Gerber diesel multi tool. Gerber hatchet in sled at all times. Kershaw and Gerber are hands down the best modern blades on the market in my opinion, tough, hold an edge, with lifetime warranty. Well worth the money.

Those folding saws are really nice to have at the campsite.

Whatever is on sale at Menards. I lose these things as fast as I buy them.. leave on truck tailgate or falls out of my pocket on tractor so I stack then at front door then grab what I need on way out everything from razor to skinning knives. 2 inch thick Swiss Army knife in the sled all times but never used it.

Yea, thats how I am with flashlights. Always lose them and never can find one when I need it. I buy the 2 pack from harbor freight now when they're on sale for $2.50. I spend $10 a couple times a year and put a couple at every entrance. Its cheaper than replacing the batteries.

For everyday carry I have a Buck spring assist with a toolsteel blade. Not as sharp as stainless but it holds onto an edge quite a bit longer.
