I don't know if everyone is aware that Iron County is allowing boondocking on 100,000 acres of forestry land this year. Maps will be available next week. They are doing this partly to make the area even more attractive to snowmobilers AND to keep snowmobilers OFF private property. I think this is a very generous gesture to gain riding area instead of losing trails, as seems to be the norm these days.
Please return the gesture by staying OFF private property. I am not affiliated with any group involved with this, just an avid snomobiler who appreciates what we have up there and prefer to see us gaining area rather than losing it. I am also looking foward to playin' in the woods!
