john, i just wanted to thank you and everyone else who worked on BTR 6. its the best vid i own. i was just curious how long it took to shoot? how awesome was togwotee/fav thing about it? and if you personally know matt downey if u could tell him that i love his summitt! thanks so much for the site!

I think Rick Dobson shoots about 8-10 hours of tape to come up with the material he needs for a DVD. A lot of it depends on the conditions. If we were in great conditions for 4-5 hours, he could probably make one with that, but not all the spots we stop to film at produce useable footage.

I tried to order both BTR 6 and BTR 5 and Dobson keeps canceling the order and says they are now longer avaiable. Can you suggest another way to get them? Thanks for all the great work with the site. It keeps me going all year. Will be up to the UP on Jan 26th for a week. Its our annual trip from California.
