Brake light issue

I have a 900 fusion that the brakes work perfectly on however when I use the brakes the rear brake light does not come on and niether does the light that says brake on the speedo. Anyone know what this could be?

should be a sender or switch on break lever two wires to up by the break fluid reservoir is where I'd start

It most likely is the switch on the brake lever . I had to replace one that did the same thing . Not hard to do just expensive since you have to buy the switch from Polaris.

The switch may be adjustable, it was on the older polaris, You can move the switch in and out with the lever off to test it.
