I have never burned up a set of brakes. But I have not kept a sled with more than 5000 miles. With only 1500 miles something does not sound right. Might be a stuck caliper.

800 axys switch..i think i ride my brakes thru higher speed turns while giving it gas..and i notice i gas and brake going up to stop signs..been paying attention to it..i notice that engine braking that was mentioned when i let go of the gas completely to just use the brake..so im pretty sure its me..

good ole kip got em replaced under warranty..

Bud had mittens on & I saw his brake light flashing so waved him over tucked the mit in under brake problem solved. Go for a typical ride & have a bud follow you see how often brake light goes on & if accellerating brake light on grip is not adjusted right. Bet your mpg increases. lol:)
