So I have to go get my new sled at Pats and decided to make a long weekend of it with the wife. Was going to get a room at the Ramada in Hancock and hope to check out the sites while we are there. I thought someone said something about waterfalls and mine tours not far from the bridge?? Anything else wife worthy lol??

If you want to see the sites I would go the other way Bond Falls & LOC easy access. Adventure mine in Greenland very cool but I think is closed now.

if you really want to score some points, the old theater in Calumet is very cool for a show or tour, also if she is into scrapbooking, Calumet has a nice scrap book store, in Mass city you can walk up to a beautiful bluff overlooking Mass City- (looks like scene from a good western) Kip at Pat's can tell you how to get up there -it's easy and legal.

Hurley WI. night life:) and if you don't want her to join you again a night at the motel right "down town"

We as a group of fellas don't even go there anymore.... My wife is waaaaayyyy better looking than any "talent" I saw the last time I was there.... Yuck.

Quincy Mine (right in top of the hill in Hancock) is offering daily tours through the 17th. Personally, my favorite place to go for mining history is the Calumet Visitor Center - three floors of modern, well put together exhibits for free!

The Hungarian Falls Complex is what I consider the nicest set of falls north of the bridge, and is a relatively short (1-2 miles) hike to see all of them. Eagle River Falls is probably the easiest, most worthwhile falls to visit that doesn't require any hiking. Jacobs Falls and Haven Falls are two falls that are also located right next to the road. (However, if you are interested in hiking, let me know and I'll throw out some more spots.)

Despite being past peak, Brockway Mountain Drive and Cliff Drive are great roads regardless of the time of year.

hence "if u dont want her to join u again"...

Bingo.....you tell her this is the type of place we have to sleep in all the time

I have not personally been to "Hurley night life" in 5-6 years but I assume the talent and the motel are still the same, with exception of the motel..... I am guessing that is in even worse shape. But I do miss the happy hrs. at the horse

Back to the original topic sorry I steered it off track a bit, no disrespect meant to slimcakes wife.
