BRP Lynx Snowmobiles

Anybody familiar with these? Looks like they are basically Ski-Doos sold overseas? They just released their 2015 line-up.

The BOONDOCKER DS 3900 800R E-TEC is pretty cool.

there is some of the same stuff except the suspension is FAR harsher because of the lack of trails and grooming there , you wouldn't want to ride one of these very long . strictly hardcore

They have EPS so thought doo might include in 15s but didn't.

Basically same sleds with uncoupled suspensions and more reinforcements (weight). They look cool.

The Boondocker looks like it was based on the Freeride.....

They are a Finnish/Canadian snowmobile manufacturer, as opposed to being build in Quebec I believe most of their sleds are built in Rovaniemi (Finland) alongside and extremely similar to skidoo's. As far as i'm aware they are only marketed to Scandinavia....

Speaking to some Finns during my time there (and don't quote me on it) they have a different suspension...

Lynx is a BRP produced sled in Finland. The chassis is close to the Doo. Suspensions have always been different, how ever front suspension have become very close to each other. Trail conditions and snow depth much different in Lynx market areas. Engines are the same Rotax.
