-13 degrees south of Grand Rapids, MI this morning! Didn't take the boys (dogs) long to do their business this morning and our cat is staying curled up on the rug in front of the fire, staring at the flames, glad God made didn't make her a dog and she can choose to go in or out.

Feel sorry for the little guy, as he's trudging through the snow. It's already in the snow so he really doesn't even have to lift his leg. LOL Again I say. Brrrrrrr... with a couple extra r's, it dropped 1 degree more.

I had -28 today and -34 Friday morning. Thank goodness there is no wind, although that's part of the reason it gets so cold!

Madison, WI -9. Our yellow lab has learned how to stand on two feet to avoid the cold asphalt/concrete and ground. One of the funniest things was his trying to avoid putting his paws down and ended up standing on his two front legs. lol oh to have had a video/camera.

Sunday morning -22. My dog Oscar, male ivory lab, goes out, pees on the deck, then runs around in the yard and woods until I call him in cuz I'm worried about him being out so long. His whiskers are all frosty, he comes in the house, 10 minutes later wants to go back out. Pees on the deck again, then runs around till I call him back in. This goes on most of the day. Cold doesn't seem to bother him much.

My dog woke me at 5am this morning. He had to go out which is not usual but out I go in a bath robe and slippers at -3 deg. The dog is trained to go across the street to the woods so I walked to the street to give him the go. All I was hoping for is no one would come by! Also get it done so I can get back to bed!
