They are not grooming trail 1 south of Port Wing. Our club grooms from the rail grade up to the Brule River. The club out of port wing use to maintain the trail from Port Wing down to the Brule but haven't been for the past couple of years. Best way to get up to Port Wing would be to go up the battle axe trail out of Iron River.
