Bucket List: Oshkosh Airventure July 23-29

If you like planes or anything related to aviation, the 2012 Airventure Air show in Oshkosh should be somewhere on your Bucket List. It's set for July 23rd thru the 29th and is just down the road from us here in Neenah. If you're in Wisconsin, on vacation, or able to call in sick for a couple of days it's well worth your effort. It's on my bucket list

Oh boy Gary, It's on my bucket list for next year. My son is just about to obtain his private license. Next year we plan to fly in, I can't wait.

If I remember correctly, that is the busiest airport in the world as far as landings and take offs for that week.

i live 20 mins south of oshkosh and was outside yesterday and saw 53 or so planes fly over 3 by 3 by3 as far as you could see

We were on the boat yesterday, anchored at Streich's and saw the same thing. Also saw one B17 and a couple of jets from the Korean War era. Love to see the Warbirds still flying!

My dad used to take our family to Oshkosh every year for our summer vacation. Have been going almost every year since (I leave on Wednesday, this will be my 33rd year attending). It really has grown over the years with a lot more 'commercialism' built into the show, but if you have any interest in aviation....this is the place to go!
