The heading says it all guys. As some of you may know from past threads, my daughter is serving our country in the US Navy. I found out today she just been awarded the Junior Sailor of the Year for her ship. She serves on the USS Howard, a destroyer as a fire controlman, in other words, she shoots the 5 inch gun. Now there is something for a dad to be proud of, lol. I really don't know what she had to do to win this award, but I'm sure it took a lot of work and determination. We are so proud of her, we are just bursting at the seams. She has been in for almost six years now, and is planning on reenlisting this fall. Sleep well fellow JDers, with Kristin, and Lenny's Daniel out there, we are well protected !!!
