Bus Accident 10-6-11

What is the speed limit there? I is kinda scary looking at all the damage to the bus to think that our kids ride them everyday, and dont have seatbelts on? Thank god it happened when it did and the bus was empty.

Angels were watching this bus today. 33 yrs ago my school bus was hit by a drunk driver. Fortunately I wasn't on the bus that morning and no children were seriously hurt. However, our dear bus driver was thrown out of the bus, hit, and killed. I go back to that day everytime I hear of something like this. Hug your children everyday!

Crazy Bow hunters, now this. My neighborhood has got way to much going on. I was on the phone with one of my builders this morning as he drove by it and I didn't register what he was talking about at the time. What next? Vector08 , how many more of you JDeer's live around me?

The speed limit on 12 mile, road bus was on, is 55 mph. Speed limit on Courtland, Road ford flex was on, I believe is 55 mph.... The road originates as a 35mph, then it goes to 45 mph, then I believe in that section it is 55 mph. Both vehicles were probably going at least 55.

People run stop signs all the time. If anyone is familiar with Houghton, I was coming on M26 (this past Thursday PM) toward the bridge when a car in the right lane sped past me and cut in front of me in the lane toward the bridge. As he came to the 1st stop sign at US-41 he sped right thru it without touching the brakes, when he got to the 2nd stop sign at the South end of bridge he sped thru that one also without touching the brakes (no tail lights on). I was going 25mph and he was pulling away from me. He then sped across the bridge into Hancock changing lanes 2 times and when he got just past Dave's BP he turned into the Holiday gas station cutting across in front on on coming traffic just making it by. Never a cop when you need one! That was one time I had wished Onstar was active in my car.
