The past couple of years we have leaned on The Snowy's and/or Togwotee area as our "fail safe" for good powder when The Black Hills hasn't produced. This season is so bad, we can't even count on THOSE locations. Tog three weeks ago (1/16 & 1/17) and it was the worst riding we've had in years --- Anywhere! Completely tracked up/ wind blown. Very depressing when you drive 15+hrs to get there. And they haven't really gotten much to speak of since BEFORE we were there! Last resort was going to be West Yellowstone, but they are dry too!!!! Such a bummer. 
I will say, we've been pretty spoiled with our last few trips - Over the hood snow, fresh dump the night prior - So we were due for a bad run I suppose. Kid got a new sled this season, guess we'll blame it on that.
