I'm not sure how the XTX's are on the trail, but I have the ADX's and they do very well on the trail. The ADX's do not have any keel though, but they are SO much better, handling wise, on the trails over stock skis.
I ran them on my Apex it did wonders for that sled,I was able to corner right with the Vipers.On my Gade it was awesome for turning also,but steered much heavier than the pilots.I was able to go into turns at A much higher speed on both sleds.It cured the darting on the Apex also.The Gade never really darted unless I was following other Skidoos then they trace the Pilot tracks a little.
