Cabin Stairs to the loft

For a number of reasons....I tore out the spiral staircase that I built and replaced it with a more traditional set (well it does have a winder tread). See attached.

I never did like spiral staircases …
Didja ever try to haul a bulky object up a spiral staircase? Nasty chore!

I tore out the spiral staircase that I built and replaced it with a more traditional set (well it does have a winder tread).
I thought the spiral staircase would be the one with the winder tread, well, at least the "windy-er" one! {grin}

both look great. I actually really like the spiral staircase until you have to carry something up it.

I wanted to put one in my bedroom that would stop at the garage level and then down to the basement so I didn't have to walk from one end of the house to the other, lmao, I know it is lazy.

I like the way you redid the stairs and it looks like it makes more space in the room that way.
