Camera Used out west

John,
In reading and viewing your blog from out west, the pictures you took were outstanding and I was wondering if they are from and point and shoot or a DSLR. If a point and shoot can you give us the make and model?

I am in the market for a new point and shoot.

It was a DSLR. Nikon D5100 with a 50-300mm lens. A few like the pic of Lefty with the air bags deployed, the hot dogger and campfire were with my iPhone 5.
