Rusty ~ I'll check on that camera for you, I think my sister just bought one back around Christmas. I know she has something similar but have to check on the model. One of the reasons she bought it was b/c I liked my Nikon Coolpix S4 w/ 10x zoom.

Any certain question you want me to ask her?

I like my Olympus 850SW also! My only complaint is the lack of zoom as well, especially compared to my S4. But it's really cool to take it in the pool, ocean, lakes, Etc. I have some cool picture of the kids that I would not have taken with my other camera! The best place to take it is the water park everyone look a you like your nuts!

I also talk my fire dept. in too buying 4 for our trucks. I thought the 850 would be tough enough for the guys at the department but I was wrong! Someone smashed it in the door when it was hanging in it case in the truck. Bad placement of the camera in retrospect, but the cool thing was Olympus fixed it for no charge in 2 weeks. Only cost to us was to ship it to Olympus.

Still waiting on my sister to get back to me on her camera.

I picked the cam up last Fri at best buy I am just wondering about pic quality and I got the cam to try and get the action shots this year my older camera are so SLOW this one seems very fast I dont like how the continues shot option turns the pixels down to 3 from 12 pixels.

Rusty~ Finally talk to my sister yesterday and she has S550. Not exactly the same but close. She said see loves the camera and has no complaints. She also thought you should have not problem with the action shots. Said hers start up fast and will take action pictures. I also thought on my Nikon S4 the continues shot option had settings that would let you adjust how many shots were taken, and with less shots it would increase the pixels per picture. Probably not the exact answer you were looking for but may help.

Good luck with the camera!
