I can say I play a ton of golf here in the Keweenaw. I also play a bunch in the Chicago area as well.

This is the first yr in a while I haven't had a sled and i haven't missed it one bit this yr. Since i just bought a new set of irons, the titleist AP2's, I can't wait to play golf. my wife is getting sick of seeing the set sitting around with the new stix.

I would have to say I'll be playing in 3-4 weeks in the Chicago area then not much after here.

with this winter we mise well start looking at golfing.

I just hate it this time of year, it's always on temporary greens. It's nice to get out and swing though.

m8man,

How many rounds do you play a year? The first year I moved up to my lake home full time in 2006, I played 210 rounds! 180 the next year and a few less each year with only 125 or so last year. I'm a golf nut, but I've been having tendonitis issues in my elbows from playing so much. I have my eyes on the AP1 irons but hate to get rid of my Hogan's. Can't wait to tee it up!

WOW, thats some major golfing.. Maybe you should tryout for the Senior Pro tour...
Play the game you love and collect a check.

I'm no where near good enough to play on any tour! LOL I'm ok, with a handicap that ranges from 5-7, but that just won't cut it. Heck, I can't win many tournaments at our club let alone on a national level. I was club Champion in 2006, but I had a very good day! Now that I'm 50, I can play in the Senior division also during our club Championship. I'm still probably not in the top 5 at Spooner Golf Club in the Senior division, but I hope to play another 30+ years. Golf is a wonderful game!

mspease,

I play twice a week. I picked up the game in my early 20's and got hooked. I'm now 38 and play twice a week. Once in league and once with my boys. I do remember before kids and my wife I played like 60 days in a row. That yr i did have a couple of hundred rounds, but a lot less now. I hope to start taking a weekend trip each yr with my boys to golf now. They are 10 and 4. Maybe my oldest anyway.

later,

Just got a set of jr. clubs for my 8 year old. He's all pumped up to go out golfing with dad. Hope he thinks that same way when he gets in his teen's.
