Cat 2011 Snow Pro battery issues

I am wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this issue. I have replaced the battery on my sled in every year the last 3. I just put a new battery in last weekend and the sled runs perfect. Left our sleds out overnight and the next day no cranking power. After many turns of the key it finally it turns over and starts. Runs perfect all day starting every time. I thought it might be electrical but it seems unlikely now. Is there a history of battery/cold start issues. Baffled. FYI, I keep the battery on trickle charge whenever it is in the shed to help as I do with all my machines but this one seems continually an issue. Thanks,

There's grease inside the ignition switch. Probably with age it is thickening up and the cold just makes it worse and the contacts aren't touching until you turn it a few times.
