Just in case people were wondering about conditions, they're great right now. Rode 313 miles today leaving from Rapid River. North past Buckhorn to 8 then Shingleton to Grand Marais. Went East to Pine Stump then down to Seney. Back northwest to 8 and backtracked to Rapid River. Lots of fresh snow around Grand Marais and Seney and trails were awesome. Lots of folks out riding today but groomers were out and conditions were ideal.

You are correct lots of snow in Seney & Grand Marais but also lots of people, its a busy weekend, Relic Ride in Manistique, Winterfest in Curtis, 3 different Dog sled races all in the Central & Eastern U.P. this weekend, I think there is a manufacturer test ride in Munising & its valentines day weekend so be prepared to encounter heavy traffic on the trails & the roads. From Marquette to the Soo & every thing South of that is busy! Good luck finding lodging. I could have rented the guest house 4 more times this weekend. anyway if your headed up, have fun & be carful!!!
