Man I love the sound of a stout chainsaw, I've been listening to one in the distance for the last half hour.
The kind that hardly pulls down any rpm as it's sawing through a 20" trunk, badass....
Reminds me of a boondocking sled sound...

It might be the redneck neighbor mowing his entire yard with a souped up Husquvarna weed trimmer...LOL...

I just watched a You Tube of " Redneck Fails " and some hoople head was trying to trim his shrubs by tieing a chainsaw to a rope and spinning it over his head ???? What a hoot.

Heck, I'm a fib and have 10 working chainsaws. Got to have a spare! Most are hand me downs from Pop. When it nolonger runs right, I get it for Christmas. He cuts A LOT of wood, heating his home and two large buildings. The guy's 68 and still cuts and splits all his own.
The "Baddest" I have is a 24" bar that I removed (to mess with the neighbor) and put on an 18"bar/chain and sprocket (got lots of 18"bars and chains). He was amazed how it outcut his 18" highend saw. You have to put your weight into it to get the RPMs under control.

The bigger the bar, the bigger diameter stuff you can cut. The bigger the bar, the more power it takes. Big trees=big bars. To put a smaller bar on a saw that's rated for a large bar, ex...an 18" bar on a saw rated for a 24" bar = Giddy Up and Get er done!!!!

Love the picture snocrazy, of the guy who can afford the professional Husky with a 36 inch bar, but can't afford any safety equipment at all to wear with it.
