choke plunger stuck in carb

Has anyone else had choke plungers seize in the carb body? Never seen this happen before, not like I've disassembled and cleaned tons of carbs. But has to be in the teens or twenty something times.

yes, just had that happen on an old suzuki lt185 quad runner, was stuck real good but finally got it to work well with some serious cleaning.

Sprayed the heck out of it with carb cleaner, WD40, CLR, tried PB Blaster, wouldn't budge, yanked the cable out (was already broke at splitter, probably why it seized, not moving or being seized broke it) hoping I could put a screwdriver in slot and get it to twist. Still nothing. Ended up having to drill it out, did it with no damage to housing. Pretty lucky I guess, for me, that I got it straight and centered. Once I was able to get sides pushed in with minature screwdriver was able to get it to twist and get it out.
New cable and plunger ordered $26 total and be good as new.
