It is further than that. I believe Houghton is 170 to 190 from Marquette depending on which way you go. I think you are closer to 220 to 250 range from Christmas.

Did this stretch a couple years back and I'm pretty sure it was about 250.

How far by trail?

If you go through Sidnaw it is about 190. If you take the trail trough Alston and in to Twinn Lakes is about 45 miles shorter.
