The chain is ok all frozen there are frozen slush ruts but all covered in snow and nothing real dangerous just a little rough in spots, and the more snow it should only get better. Way off the beaten path you might still find slush spots. I just was on it Saturday and Sunday.

Thanks. About what I figured. So it's not too smooth, right?

It's ok but not a lot of snow cover which allow the previous rutting to show through at times. 3-4 inches would help a whole lot. I rode it Saturday night, maybe more snow since then.

It's actually not that bad or at least not Sunday. By bent's camp they plowed off where they do the drags, but to go from one end to the other you can run it at a good speed there are just some spots that are a little rough.
