Good to go, I’m going on my 1st ride tomorrow. Leaving from my house in Hayward. But calling for rain on Sunday.

Rode out of Staudemeyer's 4 Seasons resort last week, Friday Jan 25 and Saturday Jan 26.

Friday, From Lake Namakagon went 70W, 15N, up Lake Owen, 63N to Drummond, 6N to 18W to 31N up to Iron River. Then 17S, 7E past Barnes, 7E onwards to Drummond, then back the way we came to Namakagon. All trails very good to excellent. Only real chop we found was the couple miles of RR grade on the north end of Lake Owen, trail 63, but really was not bad.

Saturday, From Lake Namakagon, went 8E to Clam Lake, don't have trail numbers handy, but we then headed NE towards Mellen, but trail wasn't groomed in a couple days, so doubled back towards Clam Lake and instead went north to Sanborn (Northwoods Bar & Grill), the few mile area surrounding Sanborn was pretty thin, it was smooth and packed base, but was a few open fields and the dirt was showing through in a couple of spots. Then heading west to Grandview. Trail between Sanborn and Grandview was not good, not groomed yet this season as far as I could tell, and a lot of re-routes, detours, I presume there was a washout or two last summer that caused this. I wouldn't recommend this area, Bayfield County was much better. From Grandview headed to Drummond to head back same way as previous day.

Overall trip was really great, just the thin area around Sanborn and the trouble section to Grandview. Not sure what the area received for new snow since I left Sunday January 27.
