Hi John it is ironic we built our new homes at the same time and I too have a classic boiler looks just like yours. Mine is 6048. I live in SouthWest Michigan, Gobles area. We love our boiler, and wondered if you had set up different zones for the your place and the workshop? I really appreciate what you do for the snowmobiling community and hope one day our paths will cross out on the trail. Take care John.

I have the 6048 as well and love it. We also got the propane backup.
I will have several zones that the boiler heats. Right now, just the cabin, but the shop has pex in the floor and once I insulate it, will heat it. It will also heat the log home once we build that.

Awesome John. Ours currently heats our home, garage, and hotwater. Did you do radiant heat in the cabin? We brought it into our propane fired furnace, and that is what we have for backup. Kinda wished I had done the radiant heat but it just didn't make the cut when we were at that stage of building. Have a good day, and by the way it is snowing in Kalamazoo today.
