anyone know of any good clay pigeon thrower manufacturers? I would like to buy one and thought I would start my research by polling the JD crowd. Dont want anything too cheap, quality build, and preferrably made in the USA.

I will keep an eye on this thread. I have bought several and all junk from the current day manufacturers. I htink you have to find an old one that was built to last. I hope some on here has a good recomendation.
I currently use the orange plastic hand throwers. we usually have a bunch of guys so having multiple people throwing at the same time can be pretty cool.
If Heaven or Purgatory are any where near Munising, lets go shooting!

The orange plastic throwers work the best in my opinion.
I have a green, single step thrower that I got from Fleet Farm a few years back. Don't know the name, sticker wore off, but is works good. Don't get the kind you have to cock by hand, you will hurt yourself at some point. The kind you step on and it cocks with the force of your step is the best. But all of these will throw in the same place each time you load the trap. Your buddy with a hand thrower and a couple barely pops in him will make for much more challanging shots.
