ok..my take on this is the problem is hijacked threads..maybe there should be a rule on that..i dont even start threads anymore because the OP gets gone..

i threw 3 threads out over the last cupl weeks..and none ended on the subject

including the dcsnomo thread..i asked a simple question to continue the thread..was anybody offended about the swearing which was the original post? and it got zero answers because it blew off the rails..

then closed

I wouldn't be concerned PD. It wasn't your post that caused the thread to close. As I tried to make clear, and explain, my previous post, it disappeared. And I have used some terms, and language, that I probably should not have previously, and will no longer do so. What the moderators have done, is the right way to stop, and fix it. I commend for what action was taken, and for putting up with the out of bounds stuff in general as long as they have! I very much appreciate John, and the rest of the people responsible as being able to make this site possible!

Why would you think it was me?....none of the terms that dcsnomo diatribed out before taking his soccer ball and going home were anything i ever called anyone....just his flawed perception of me.

I just seem to remember the last time that I thought that I had made a mistake, turned out I was wrong.

Its those 3:38 am beer post's that don't make it thru the filters.

Ok, so now a few of us have to admit guilt.

BUT, I am with PD....It's hard to contain the raw emotion when civil liberties are at stake. Look at the jack booted raid of Rodger Stone....automatic weapons in the hands of fully armored agents?....to seize a few computers and cell phones?....If that doesn't send a shiver down your spine, I'm not sure what will.
They did the same type of raid on members of Gov. Walker's staff. Then nothing became of it. No charges. Where do these ppl get their reputations back?....Where does the teenaged son of one of them get his sanity back?

A short C and P from> https://ballotpedia.org/John_Doe_investigations_related_to_Scott_Walker#cite_ref-USDCED_1-12

Before Jensen's arrest, on September 14, 2011, the home of Cindy Archer, Walker's director of Administrative Services in Milwaukee County, was raided in connection to the Ruess lease. Archer had followed Walker to Madison to serve as the deputy secretary of the Department of Administration for the state and was instrumental in crafting Walker's Act 10.[44][1]

Archer found approximately 12 police officers and FBI agents banging on her door in the early hours of September 14, battering ram in hand. According to an article by David French in National Review, Archer let investigators in while attempting to calm her distressed dogs: "I begged and begged, ‘Please don’t shoot my dogs, please don’t shoot my dogs, just don’t shoot my dogs.’ I couldn’t get them to stop barking, and I couldn’t get them outside quick enough. I saw a gun and barking dogs. I was scared and knew this was a bad mix."[45]
After searching her entire home, the investigators left with her cell phone and computer. Archer was never charged with any wrongdoing.[45]
