Clutch alignment tool for an 06 Polaris Fusion 600

I want to buy a clutch alignment tool for my 06 Fusion 600. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I had trouble with belts last year and I think it might be misaligned. My secondary clutch says "TEAM" on it and I have electric start.

Also, how much slop is supposed to be on the secondary? I can shift it in and out about 1/8" or so. Seems like it has more play in it than it should.

This stuff is all new to me...

I had the same sled for 4 years. Only went through one belt, and that was my own fault (little pine tree never had a chance...). 3800 miles. What belts are you using? Are you sure you have the right one? The aftermarket belts sometimes don't fit right, and can shred easy.

The movement in the secondary clutch is normal. It should float like that. I have never used a clutch alignment too, but before you go changing the spacers to move it in or out from stock, I'd look into the basic things first. Are your sheaves clean? If not, make sure they are cleaned up good. Some high grit sand paper or steel wool works nicely.

The stock belt for that sled isn't that expensive ($75 or so I think). If you aren't using that, I'd try those first. Might have something to do with your riding style as well. Cracking on the throttle all the time can be tough on them.

I've never heard of these sleds having belt trouble, but you could have a bad clutch too. Make sure the primary is engaging properly. Check the weights and buttons, see if they are worn. If it's not sliding freely, that could cause problems too. Would be a good time just to check everything, and replace parts if needed.

I bought the sled last year. It had about 200 miles on it. The first belt broke about 3 miles into my first ride. I don't know the history of that belt so I'm not concerned with it. The 2nd belt broke about 1600 miles after that. This belt also came with the spare. I believe both belts were the stock belts. I ride fairly aggressively but am not on the throttle 100% all that much. Last year was nearly all trail riding and quite a bit of straight-aways. I'm not much for extreme speeds but I do like to ride hard through the turns.

Seems to me that 1600 miles is a short life for a belt for that sled. The 3rd belt (the one on there now), I really made sure to break it in properly. I only have about 70 miles on it though.

1600 isn't too bad.... I agree, you should get more out of it. But those stock belts are the less expensive ones. Not the Kevlar stuff. My gut says everything is fine, and the belt just wore through. Think of it this way, a $75 belt for 1600 miles or a $175 belt for 3,000 miles. Either way, it's about the same cost. I think you are good. Can still check everything, but that doesn't sound that unreasonable to me.

Ok...apparently since my sled has electric start, it uses a different clutch alignment tool. Anyone know where I can get one?
06 Fusion 600 with electric start.

Thanks.
